European Central Bank policymakers gathering last month expressed concern over the risk of a full-fledged trade war with the United States and fretted over the potentially harmful impact of the euro's strength, the minutes of meeting showed.

All of the Federal Reserve's policymakers felt that the U.S. economy would firm further and that inflation would rise in the coming months, minutes of the central bank's last policy meeting on March 20-21 released on Wednesday showed.

This is how we trade today:

EUR/USD

Trading strategy: Long

Open: 1.2220

Target: 1.2470

Stop-loss: 1.2220 (raised from 1.2140)

Recommended size: 2.50 mini lots per $10,000 in your account

Short analysis: The EUR/USD retreated from yesterday’s peak, but we do not think the trend has changed. In our opinion using dips to open long position could be a good trading idea. The next target will be March high (1.2476).

GBP/USD

Trading strategy: Long

Open: 1.4010

Target: 1.4270

Stop-loss: 1.4070 (raised from 1.3900)

Recommended size: 1.36 mini lots per $10,000 in your account

Short analysis: Bullish trend remains intact here despite lower EUR/USD. Our long is getting close to the target.
